Extending out 500 feet over the Atlantic Ocean is Old Orchard Beach Pier, a local landmark that affords places to fish, dance, and shop. Experience fresh Maine seafood at one of the five restaurants that line the pier and top off dinner by taking in some of the nightlife, which includes comedy acts and concerts in an array of genres.

Two of the area’s foremost attractions are the Dunegrass Golf Club, a stunning 18-hole golf course, and the beachfront Palace Playland, a classic amusement park featuring carnival rides by the ocean. For a true summer treat, Old Orchard Beach hosts a sparkling fireworks display every Thursday night throughout the season.

Wild Acres RV Resort & Campground

A rustic retreat awaits you at Wild Acres RV Resort & Campground. This forested hideaway is a hiker’s dream with 30 acres of undeveloped wilderness free for exploring. Trails wind through the copses and fishermen can head to a stocked fishing pond, where they can prepare for weekly fishing tournaments. Don’t be surprised if you see someone flying overhead! Our aerial adventure park offers treetop rope courses and seven zip stations, including a flight directly over the pond.

As the closest campground to Old Orchard Beach, head down to the beach, or stay on-site and relax in one of our four sparkling swimming pools. You can even bring the whole gang and take a soak in the supersized 22-person hot tub. When you’re ready to get back on land, you can enjoy plenty of sports, including volleyball, basketball, pickleball, shuffleboard, and horseshoes. If miniature golf is more your speed, you’re in luck, as Wild Acres is home to a challenging 18-hole course.

Come vacation at our Maine RV park and experience what folks in this area call the North Country. With great amenities just minutes from the beach, you’ll enjoy every second of your stay!
